Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the western in a wonderful game for new gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler versus the dealer, unlike the majority of other poker games that gamblers play with other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, beginning players do not need to fret about any other, more experienced people taking their money.
An additional Pai Gow advantage is the relatively leisurely game pace, novices should be able to take their time and strategize without needing to make frenzied decisions.
It’s also easier to participate in for a long time with only a small bit of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands has to be under each of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is assigned seven cards faces showing and the dealer gets 7 cards face down.
One five card hand and one 2 card hand need to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the houses.
