Novice Strategy for Pai Gow Poker

[ English ]

Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the wild west in a fantastic game for beginning level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the house, unlike the majority of other poker games that players play against other players. By competing against the dealer, new players don’t have to worry about any other, more experienced individuals taking their money.

An additional Pai Gow edge is the fairly slow game play, newcomers will be able to take their time and scheme while not needing to make frenzied selections.

It’s also much simpler to enjoy for an extended time with just a small bit of cash seeing as, to lose, each of your hands needs to be lower than each of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the house gets 7 cards face down.

One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand need to be made from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
