Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with old origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the wild west in an awesome game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the casino, unlike nearly all other poker games that players play with other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, new players do not need to fret about any other, more knowledgeable players winning their money.
A further Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game play, newcomers should be able to take their time and scheme without needing to make hasty selections.
It’s also easier to participate in for a very long time with basically a tiny amount of money after all, to lose, both of your hands must be under both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is dealt seven cards face up and the casino gets 7 cards face down.
A 5 card hand and one 2 card hand need to be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the casino’s.
